National viral hepatitis grants now available

We’re now inviting applications from eligible organisations for grants under the Continuation of the Viral Hepatitis Prevention and Response Measures Program.

The grants will fund community-led national viral hepatitis projects and awareness campaigns. These projects will work with priority populations and help Australia eliminate hepatitis B and C as public health challenges by 2030.

We're looking to fund projects that help to:

  • improve prevention, testing, diagnosis and treatment outcomes
  • increase people’s understanding and awareness of viral hepatitis
  • reduce stigma and discrimination
  • make it easier for people to access culturally safe and appropriate care
  • support community-led approaches
  • strengthen national coordination, partnerships and workforce skills.
