The grants will fund community-led national viral hepatitis projects and awareness campaigns. These projects will work with priority populations and help Australia eliminate hepatitis B and C as public health challenges by 2030.
We're looking to fund projects that help to:
- improve prevention, testing, diagnosis and treatment outcomes
- increase people’s understanding and awareness of viral hepatitis
- reduce stigma and discrimination
- make it easier for people to access culturally safe and appropriate care
- support community-led approaches
- strengthen national coordination, partnerships and workforce skills.
