The grants will fund critical BBV and STI research activities to continue building the evidence base and support work to reduce the spread and impact of STIs.

We’re looking to fund projects focused on:

  • reducing the spread and impact of BBV and STI
  • improving prevention, testing and treatment
  • improving quality of life for people living with or at risk of BBV or STI
  • tackling stigma and discrimination
  • building our knowledge and evidence base.

This includes activities related to BBV and STI that align with the national strategies, and are informed by the First National BBV and Research Strategy 2021 to 2025 and its future versions.

Applications close at 2pm on 10 February 2026 AEDT.
