Senate Order Listings

We publish a listing of all relevant files we updated or created in the previous 6 months.

We table the listings twice a year:

• spring sitting listing – for files created from July to December
• autumn sitting listing – for files created from January to June.

We are required to do this by Senate Order 12 – Indexed lists of departmental and agency files.

We publish a list of contracts valued at $100,000 or more, including details such as:

• the contractor
• the value
• the subject matter
• the duration
• any confidentiality provisions.

We table the listings twice a year, at the end of each:

• calendar year (1 January to 31 December)
• financial year (1 July to 30 June).

We are required to do this by Senate Order 13 – Entity contracts.

We publish listings of all:

• appointments
• existing vacancies.

We table the listings 3 times a year, before:

• budget estimates
• supplementary budget estimates
• additional estimates hearings.

We are required to do this by Senate Order 15 — Departmental and agency appointments and vacancies

Grant contracts including those meeting the requirement of Senate Order 16 – Departmental and agency grants (Minchin Motion) can be viewed by visiting GrantConnect.

We publish a statement showing the:

• number of questions taken on notice at the previous estimates hearings
• number answered by the committee's due date
• dates unanswered responses were provided to the minister's office

We table the listings 3 times a year, before the start of:

• budget estimates
• supplementary budget estimates
• additional estimates hearings.

We are required to do this by Senate Order 21 – Estimates hearings – Unanswered questions on notice.

We publish a list of meetings between current ministers, secretaries or deputy secretaries and former ministers, including the

• date
• location
• duration
• attendees
• topics discussed.

We table the listings 3 times a year, before the start of:

• budget estimates
• supplementary budget estimates
• additional estimates hearings.

We are required to do this by Senate Order 22 – Former ministers – Meetings.
