enHealth guidance – The health effects of environmental noise

This review looked at more than 200 research papers, publications and policies to assess the impacts of environmental noise. It makes 4 recommendations:

• recognise that environmental noise is a health risk
• promote measures to reduce environmental noise and associated health impacts
• address environmental noise in planning and development activities
• foster research to support policymaking and action.
