Information Publication Scheme (IPS)

Under the Information Publication Scheme (IPS) – part of the Freedom of Information Act – we publish a wide range of information about who we are and what we do on our website.

We publish a broad range of information on our website under the Freedom of Information Act’s Information Publication Scheme (IPS). The IPS aims to increase the transparency of Government decisions and activities.

To meet IPS requirements and make sure that we are transparent, we publish the following information on our website:

  • who we are which includes our organisational chart
  • what we do
  • consultation arrangements
  • statutory office holders
  • annual reports and budget statements
  • arrangements for members of the public to comment on specific policy proposals for which the CDC is responsible, including how (and to whom) those comments may be made

  • Information routinely provided to Parliament
  • CDC operational information, which is information we hold to assist us to perform or exercise our functions or powers in making decisions or recommendations affecting members of the public (or any person or entity, or class of persons or entities).
